Wolford SoHo Boutique
Shape and Form
The SoHo boutique location of the global luxury brand Wolford specializes in high-end women’s bodywear and hosiery. Wolford is known for its innovations in knitting technology and for its collaborations with iconic international fashion designers and photographers.
Located in the SoHo–Cast Iron Historic District, the project required the careful refurbishment and delicate integration of existing historical elements, such as the original wooden storefront and tin ceiling, as well as the exposing and refinishing of the original hardwood floors, in a manner reflective of the neighborhood’s inherent character.
The design incorporates new elements in both the dressing room and fixtures, creating a cohesive environment through the integration of product display, brand identity, and atmospheric lighting elements. The project included approval by the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission.
